This week marks National Apprenticeship Week, in celebration of the apprentices helping to shape the future of sustainable housebuilding.
At Greencore Homes, we know that delivering Better Than Net Zero homes is not just about delivering innovative design and Passivhaus standards, but also on investing in the next generation of green skills.
One of our newest apprentices, is 16-year-old Joshua Maskell, who joined us in September 2025 as a Site Carpentry Apprentice. Alongside his studies at Abingdon and Witney College, Josh is gaining hands on experience across our two developments, including The Canopies and Launton.
Josh is developing a wide range of carpentry skills while learning first-hand about our fabric-first approach and the high performance building methods that define every Greencore home that we build.
He now intends to complete his Level 3 Apprenticeship and make a long term career with Greencore Homes.
